Music and Creative Arts Ministry
The mission of the Music and Creative Arts Ministry is to promote cohesiveness among the music, dance, drama and media technology components that will reflect a mass cooperative outpouring of ministering through performance, service, fellowship and praise, ultimately supporting and enhancing the worship experience in a manner that reflects the Body of Christ and the omnipotence of God; addressing the various levels of spirituality and musical tastes present within the Bethel congregation. Simultaneously; and improving and enhancing the spiritual level, worship experience, biblical understandings, talents, gifts and skills of the participants in the various components such that the total ministry will be improved, enhanced and used effectively. 

The goals of the Music and Creative Arts Ministry include:
1. Developing a strategy for spiritual and skill development as provided through lectures, study sessions and workshops (internal and external);
2. Developing an all inclusive calendar for the year, that reflects performances and rehearsal’s for all groups, and promotes the use of combined talents and skills;
3. Developing programs and repertoires that reflect the various church themes presented by the Senior Minister and the liturgical seasons celebrated by the African Methodist Church;
4. Developing working committees that assist in carrying out the work and goals of the ministry comprised of members of the ministry as well as members of the church at large;
5. Securing a full staff of musicians to include a church organist/pianist and instrumentalists who will accompany singing components; and developing viable job descriptions that relate to the present organizational structure;
6. Upgrading audio/video systems to ensure the comfort of the listening and viewing audience.
7. Procuring various props and costumes that compliment the major productions that are presented during the various liturgical seasons;
8. Obtaining uniforms that promote the feeling of solidarity and reflect quality presentations; and
9. Scheduling meetings and rehearsals to enhance musicianship and reflect preparedness and excellence; and ultimately achieve the Senior Minister’s vision for a comprehensive ministry.

Voices of Judah
The mission of the Voices of Judah is to be one body joined together to minister, under the power of the Holy Spirit, to create an atmosphere where preaching is easy, souls are saved, lives are transformed, minds are renewed, hearts are mended and spirits are encouraged.
The goals of the Voices of Judah include:
1. Recruiting new members;
2. Exploring new music to challenge and expand vocal capabilities;
3. Bridging the generation gap;
4.  Retaining current members;
5. Participating in service projects to include Christmas Caroling at convalescent homes, performing a benefit concert at the Refuge House and campus evangelism; and
6. Performing the Annual Voices of Judah Concert.

Fellowship Choir
The mission of the Fellowship Choir is to consistently and effectively lift the name of Jesus Christ through the ministry of music to encourage the heart, enrich the soul and edify the Body of Christ.The goals of the Fellowship Choir include:
1. Increasing active choir membership by 25%, especially tenors;
2. Enhancing the musicianship of choir members;
3. Enhancing the understanding of choir members about “why we sing”.
4. Participating in service projects to include the Thanksgiving Basket Drive and Families Reaching Families.
5. Conducting a Homecoming Weekend to promote fellowship and reunion of former choir members.

Bethel Chorale
The Mission of the Bethel Chorale is to minister the Word of God to the congregation and the community through anthems, hymns, Negro spirituals, and traditional and contemporary gospel songs.  The Bethel Chorale partners with the versatile talents of the Bethel Orchestra and Instrumental Ensembles to present the joy of music and express the beauty of God’s love through various venues of music to worship God in all his majesty and to accommodate the listening appreciation and spiritual needs of the entire congregation. Moreover, the Bethel Chorale attempts to fulfill its mission by providing encouragement, and spreading praise, joy, and energy through music, and making a conscious effort to be pleasing in sound and uplifting in the delivery about the goodness of God.

The goals of the Bethel Chorale include:
1. Increasing its membership;
2. Improving its vocal techniques by enhancing its individual and group tone quality, working toward unified vowel sounds and clear diction, and demonstrating stylistic understanding of the music;
3. Strengthening aural and music reading abilities;
4. Expanding the musical repertoire while being exposed to more challenging music;
5. Continuing its partnership with the Bethel Orchestra and Javayca String Ensemble; and
6. Mentoring the Girl’s Choir

Media and Technology Services
The mission of Media and Technology Services is to enhance the worship service experiences through electronic controls to provide an audio-visual environment for the congregation which is at all times comfortable, clear and intelligible. Additionally it is to assist and enhance the speaking, singing and performing presentations through the use of media technologies; and expand the out reach of the church experience through the production of audio & video recordings and weekly TV broadcasts.

The goals of the Media and Technology Services include:
1. Restoring the weekly Television Program;
2. Editing Television Broadcast in house;
3. Acquiring camcorders and equipment to support multi-camera recordings;
4. Recruiting and increasing staff to include 4 additional videographers, 2 additional audio operators, 2 additional regular projectionists;
5. Upgrading projection software and providing training in October to December in order to go live on television in January.
6. Upgrading projectors
7. Establishing a web site to transfer media to/from TV Station;
8. Recording additional church services;
9. Changing organizational structure;
10. Conducting a Sound Control class; and
11. Obtaining financial support for designated activities and projects.

Young Voices Choir
The goals of the Young Voices Choir include:
1. Developing spiritual understanding;
2. Increasing membership;
3. Increasing participation in community outreach;
4. Performing an annual concert;
5. Developing and conducting two major social events; and
6. Participating in all aspects of the overall Youth Ministry;
